Concierge
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Concierge to join our team at the Verdala Wellness Hotel - AX Privilege. The ideal candidate will excel at providing high-level, personalised service with a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will assist guests with a variety of requests, from arranging reservations and transportation to offering tailored recommendations for local experiences. You will also be responsible for ensuring that guests' needs are met smoothly and efficiently, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable stay. A focus on discretion, professionalism, and guest satisfaction is key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for services, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and attention to detail.
- Anticipate and fulfil guest preferences and requirements, from arranging special requests to ensuring that personal preferences are met throughout their stay.
- Provide personalised services such as packing and unpacking, and laundry ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, room service, and other departments to ensure that guest needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Respect and uphold guest privacy and confidentiality at all times, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and tact, aiming to achieve a satisfactory resolution.
- Continuously monitor and enhance guest comfort, making adjustments as needed to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment and/or a Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
- Proficiency in using booking and reservation systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Knowledge of local attractions, dining, and activities.
