House Attendant
Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated House Attendants to join our team at the Verdala Wellness Hotel-AX Privilege. The ideal candidates will have a passion for cleanliness and attention to detail, ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. As a House Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. You will work closely with the housekeeping team, reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. A positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction are essential for success, in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Adhere to established cleaning protocols and procedures, for consistency and efficiency.
- Conduct routine checks of guest rooms and public spaces to address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
- Use housekeeping supplies and equipment efficiently and report any shortages or issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and follow instructions from the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping in a courteous and timely manner.
- Complete all cleaning tasks to the hotel's quality standards and report any areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment and/or a Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
