Wellness Practitioner
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Practitioner to join our team at the Verdala Wellness Hotel - AX Privilege. The ideal candidate will have a holistic approach to health and wellness, providing services that promote overall well-being. As a Wellness Practitioner, you will assess guests' wellness needs and offer personalised therapies and programmes that support their physical, mental, and emotional health.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute ideas for new wellness programmes, workshops, and events that align with current wellness trends and guest preferences.
- Conduct initial wellness assessments and follow-up evaluations to personalise services and track client progress.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of wellness supplies and equipment, coordinating replenishments to ensure smooth operation.
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with clients by providing personalised recommendations and encouraging repeat visits.
- Track and analyse client participation and feedback, using insights to refine services and suggest improvements to wellness programmes.
- Take an active role in creating a tranquil and welcoming environment within wellness spaces, including setting up aromatherapy, calming music, and maintaining the space's cleanliness and order.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of holistic health principles, including nutrition, stress management, and mental well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and foster a supportive environment.
- Experience in conducting wellness assessments and creating tailored wellness plans.
- Ability to facilitate group workshops or individual sessions focused on wellness and personal development.
- A genuine passion for promoting well-being and a commitment to lifelong learning in the wellness field.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
