Receptionist/Wellness Concierge

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist/Wellness Concierge to join our team at the Verdala Wellness Hotel - AX Privilege. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of wellness services and ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests. As a Receptionist/Wellness Concierge, you will handle inquiries related to wellness programmes, assist with bookings, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for services, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and attention to detail.
• Anticipate and fulfil guest preferences and requirements, from arranging special requests to ensuring that personal preferences are met throughout their stay.
• Provide personalised services such as packing and unpacking, and laundry ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, room service, and other departments to ensure that guest needs are met efficiently and effectively.
• Respect and uphold guest privacy and confidentiality at all times, handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and tact, aiming to achieve a satisfactory resolution.
• Continuously monitor and enhance guest comfort, making adjustments as needed to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a receptionist or concierge role, preferably in a wellness or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using booking and management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of wellness practices, services, and trends is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment and/or a Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
