Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Membership Coordinator to join our team at the Verdala Wellness Hotel - AX Privilege. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of membership services and ensuring an exceptional experience for our members. As the Membership Coordinator, you will handle member inquiries, process applications, and maintain accurate membership records. You will also develop and implement membership programmes, events, and promotions to enhance member engagement and satisfaction. This role involves reporting directly to the Wellness Manager, collaborating on initiatives that promote wellness within our community. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a variety of wellness programmes, such as fitness classes, relaxation sessions, and holistic treatments, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that wellness facilities, including fitness centres and spa areas, are clean, organised, and equipped with necessary resources. Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Work with wellness practitioners, fitness instructors, and other team members to deliver a cohesive and high-quality wellness experience. Provide guidance and support to staff as needed.
  • Manage the inventory and upkeep of wellness resources, including equipment, products, and supplies. Ensure all resources are in good condition and readily available for use.
  • Interact with guests to understand their wellness needs and preferences. Offer recommendations on wellness options and address any special requests or concerns to enhance their experience.
  • Monitor the success of wellness programmes through guest feedback and performance metrics. Propose improvements and adjustments to enhance programme quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and wellness regulations. Monitor and enforce protocols related to the use of wellness facilities and services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to incorporate wellness initiatives into the overall guest experience. Ensure that wellness services complement other aspects of the guest experience.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to wellness programmes, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth operation of all wellness activities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and staff effectively.
  • Ability to develop and implement wellness programmes and initiatives.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
  • Passion for promoting health and wellness within a hospitality environment.
  • Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment and/or a Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
