Head of Sales - Luxury & Wellness
Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our global sales strategy, bridging the gap between ultra-high-end hospitality and holistic health. This role calls for a strategic expert who understands the nuances of the luxury market, someone capable of translating complex wellness philosophies into high-impact commercial narratives that resonate with global travellers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive luxury and wellness commercial sales plan, integrating traditional luxury travel segments with high‑yield wellness‑driven programmes, retreats, and practitioner‑led experiences.
- Secure and optimise partnerships with elite networks including Virtuoso, Serendipians, Amex FHR, Internova, Healing Hotels, and other global wellness travel consortia.
- Activate a "black book" of high-net-worth contacts, luxury travel advisors, and wellness influencers to drive high-value accounts.
- Lead the sales development of annual wellness retreat calendars, visiting‑practitioner residencies, wellness packages, corporate wellbeing programmes, and group retreat business.
- Own the budgeting, forecasting, and pace reporting for the luxury segment, focusing on ADR growth and RevPAR uplift.
- Negotiate preferred agreements with top-tier traditional luxury agencies and wellness curators globally.
- Represent the property at international luxury travel fairs, global wellness expos, holistic health conferences, and industry roadshows, ensuring strong positioning within the premium wellness tourism landscape.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to build wellness‑centric sales narratives, programming, and value propositions, ensuring the wellness philosophy and sustainability ethos are integrated into all commercial activities.
- Oversee GDS connectivity, luxury OTAs, and direct booking strategies to ensure rate integrity.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of proven success in luxury hospitality sales.
- At least 3 years specifically dedicated to high-end wellness-focused properties.
- Demonstrated excellence in executive-level negotiation and long-term strategic planning.
- Strong financial acumen with a data-driven approach to revenue growth.
- Native or professional fluency in English, with the ability to communicate persuasively at an executive level.
